Through our resources of expertise, Kalung Makmur is known to provide highly technical underwater services. We offer diving, robotics (R.O.V), maintenance, inspections and consultation services. As we are a service-oriented organization, we strive to ensure clients’ satisfaction by recommending tailor-made solutions for each problem faced. Approach

Prior to any assignments, we approach our clients by listing possible options on how the assignment should be best executed.

We utilize the latest equipment and strictly adhere to standard diving methods practiced by the offshore oil and gas industry. This includes an Air Diving Method which is in compliance with the International Marine Contractors’ Association Regulations of Safe Underwater Diving Works and the United Kingdom’s Health Safety Executive (HSE) Regulations and Standards. We select and employ only qualified and certified divers’ for all assignments and take extra precautions to ensure the safety and health of the divers and workers are not compromised in any way so as to avoid occupational injuries.

Upon the completion of each assignment, the diving or ROV supervisors would prepare a detailed on-site report for the client to assess the quality of work done and advise future actions. Hence, we are able to ensure our work is done according to the clients’ specifications and meet their satisfaction.

Diving
We conduct three different types of diving work:
- Air diving
- Saturation diving
- Mixed gas diving
- Air Diving (maximum depth of 50 meters, HSE Regulations)
Our divers perform shallow water assignments such as:
- Harbour maintenance and inspection
- Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) maintenance and inspection
- Jacket maintenance and inspection
- Riser maintenance and inspection
- Shallow water pipe maintenance and inspection
- Saturation Diving (maximum depth human being can withstand)
We also perform deep sea assignments:
- Deep sea pipeline maintenance and inspection
- Well maintenance
- Platform jackets maintenance and inspection
- Mixed Gas Diving (maximum depth of 100 meters)
Assignments performed are similar to those listed under saturation diving assignments.
